Inquiry is the practice of looking deeply within.

Inquiry is the practice of looking deeply within. As a contemplative practice, inquiry seeks direct, experiential answers to basic questions about existence: Who am I? Where did I come from? Why am I here?

But in addition to these lofty, existential questions, inquiry can help us explore important personal and psychological questions, such as What should I do? What do I want? What am I doing wrong? How can I solve this problem or predicament?

INQUIRING DEEPLY engages us in cultivating dialogue both with others and within ourselves. What we communicate to one another has power; in the conversational mirror of the other, we gain access to the freedom to think new thoughts and to see ourselves in new ways.

My hope is that these essays will inspire you and get you to think differently about the conversations you have.
